Wednesday's Bike Ride

On Wednesday we went to the Tempe/Scottsdale multi-use path. We took my Brompton and Karen's trike. A bit of disassembly/assembly was required to get the trike into the car and back together again once we arrived. We did something we've never done before on the path; we rode it end to end. It's not really that long (about 14 miles each way for a total of 28 miles) it's just that we've never done it all the way before.

Seen At Tempe Town Lake

I was biking at Tempe Town Lake on Friday and saw this Herron perched high on a lamp post. You usually don't associate the desert and water fowl but there are many in the green belt areas.

We've added to the bike stable. We both now have recumbent tricycles. They're TerraTrikes. I got the Tour II model to add to Karen's Rover 8. They're a LOT of fun to ride!

Trip To Tucson

We're in Tucson for a couple of days. Today we visited the east unit of Saguaro National Park. We rode the 8 mile loop road. Lots of hills, some of them quite steep. Karen saw a Gila monster there!
